Meet Dan Van Vranken

Meet Dan Van Vranken from the class of 1999. Dan has seemingly always had a guitar in his hand. Thanks to his parents, there was always music playing in Dan’s house. His parents had a penchant for music from the ’50s and ’60s so that’s created a special place in Dan’s heart and mind.

As much as Dan plays music for his own enjoyment (and sometimes for his colleagues at Informz!), he has also found this to be a wonderful activity to enjoy with his daughter. Dan hopes that his daughter enjoys music as much as he and his parents have.

Dan appreciates how music helps to develop both sides of the brain and how it only helps learning. As the father of a young scholar, this is obviously important to Dan and his wife.

Join us on Saturday, June 17th at 7:30 PM at Saratoga Springs High School’s Loewenberg Auditorium for our student assistance fund benefit concert.
