As an effort to engage students and boost practice at home, Band, Orchestra, and Chorus members from Maple Ave and the High School are being encouraged to participate in an upcoming Practice-A-Thon from March 1-March 31.
During the Practice-A-Thon, students are encouraged to seek monetary pledges from family members or close friends (following social distancing guidelines and to your family's comfort level) for hours of practice during the month of March. Students will keep a practice record on a practice log that is being provided by the music teachers.
All monies that are raised through the Practice-a-thon will be donated to the Franklin Community Center, SPAC and Friends of Music.
We will be awarding prizes for the top practice minute earner and the top pledge earner!
